All those turkey eyes. It's a wee bit unnerving.Wonder if Sugar Daze felt weirded-out by all the turkeys staring at her?

Cutest cupcake video EVER: 3-year-old Makes Vegan Pumpkin Cupcakes
Can I just spend all Thanksgiving Day watching this extremely adorable video? Via One Green Planet and it's not just cute, it really has a vegan pumpkin cupcake recipe! Petey Rojas, I hope you will be making more cupcakes and more videos! "What's vanilla?" "You mix it up until the pumpkin goes away." Love this!

Thanksgiving turkey dinner on a cookie on a cupcake!
Love love love this turkey Thanksgiving dinner on a cookie on a cupcake by Mrs. Fox's Sweets (via Flickr), who writes:
I decorated the cookie before putting it on the cupcake.First I frosted the the cookie, then added a little white icing for the mashed potatoes. I put a little yellow circle sprinkle in the center for butter, and then a little yellow piping gel since the sprinkle wasn't enough. For cranberry sauce I used red colored sugar. The green beans are made with green jimmies and the turkey was made with coffee flavored fondant (from Fondarific).
I love how fun, adorable and creative this is, and it's vegetarian! Who wouldn't smile when seeing this on the dinner table?

How adorable are these fondant topped cupcakes???
Cupcake decorating improvisation: candy necklaces for turkey feathers
One of my favorite things about cupcakes is that you can literally use anything to decorate them, and this post at Hoosier Homemade involves decorating improvisation in the form of candy necklaces! So fun, and a great way to use leftover Halloween candy (if any should exist in your house). True confession: sometimes my favorite part of a post like this is the ingredient list!

Pilgrim Cupcakes: Deconstructed
Hey there little pilgrim, how adorable are you?! There isn't an official tutorial on how to re-create these ridiculously cute cupcakes that I found so I'm going to attempt to de-construct them.
The cupcake looks like your standard vanilla or white...box cake mix perhaps? There's a blob of some sort of lighter colored frosting as the head and a face piped with black piping gel. The hat looks like the brim/foundation is an upside down striped cookie (like those keebler ones). The top hat part is what I believe is a chocolate covered jumbo marshmallow. The hat is also decorated with piping gel. The dark cupcake liner is a good idea to stick with, makes the pilgrim look even more authentic!
I hope this has helped you so you can create your own Thanksgiving Pilgrims!

Thanksgiving Turkey Cupcakes
The Brown Eyed Baker said she got the idea for these chocolaty turkeys from a picture she saw on Pinterest, which I can totally understand because I'm addicted to Pinterest. She thought they'd be fun for Thanksgiving and decided to turn them into cupcakes toppers!
All you need are chocolate cupcakes, Oreos, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Whoppers, and candy corn. I think these would be so much fun to make with the family and to eat for Thanksgiving dessert!
For details and directions, check out the whole post by the Brown Eyed Baker!

Thanksgiving Dinner Cupcakes
| Found on Tiney's Bakeshop's Flickr |
Thanksgiving dinner anyone? Well, no, this isn't exactly our favorite holiday meal but it sure looks like it! These cupcakes looks like they were inspired by the TV Dinner cupcakes in the "Hello Cupcake"book, but Christine "Tiney" Campanelli of Tiney's Bakeshop took it a step further with the cranberry sauce and yams cupcakes! Formerly a baker at Carlo's Bakery (Cake Boss), this cake artist now has her own shop! Check out her website here!
