Thanksgiving turkey dinner on a cookie on a cupcake!

Love love love this turkey Thanksgiving dinner on a cookie on a cupcake by Mrs. Fox's Sweets (via Flickr), who writes:

I decorated the cookie before putting it on the cupcake.First I frosted the the cookie, then added a little white icing for the mashed potatoes. I put a little yellow circle sprinkle in the center for butter, and then a little yellow piping gel since the sprinkle wasn't enough. For cranberry sauce I used red colored sugar. The green beans are made with green jimmies and the turkey was made with coffee flavored fondant (from Fondarific).

I love how fun, adorable and creative this is, and it's vegetarian! Who wouldn't smile when seeing this on the dinner table?

NCIS typewriter cupcake!

NCIS fan Aikko at the very cool blog Bake Happy (she's the one who made these Lady Gaga cupcakes!) made these very cool fondant typewriter cupcakes and tells you exactly how to make your own!

She writes:

I am a NCIS fan. I have watched the whole series (whole 8 seasons, season 9 on-going) four times, excluding the times I catch the show on Fox and Jack (which is a lot) . I decorate cakes while watching the show which is kind of ironic and contradicting because cakes are all happy, cheery, endorphine enducing cute little things while I watch a show which investigates not so good events every episode. My favorite episode is the first one from season seven because I'm a girl and I'm rooting for Tony and Ziva. And also when Abby found evidence linking Gibbs to Paloma Reynosa. Then there's McGee who loves to his write his novels on a typewriter which got him into trouble because an obsessed fan used the typewriter ribbon to act out the not so good events of his soon to be published second novel.

Have any of you read The Hunger Games trilogy? If you haven't you need to...like yesterday. This thing is poised to be the next Twilight phenomenon! The trailer for the first movie went viral this week and honestly, it looks amazing. As a huge fan of the trilogy I can honestly say that these books blow the Twilight Saga out of the water! I know it's cliche but my favorite was always Kermit the Frog...loved his news reports as a kid...and his cameos on Sesame Street! I saw these Halloween cupcakes on Flickr and thought they were too cute not to share! These amazingly crafted cupcakes were created by Charlotte, North Carolina's It's My Treat by Janice. The detail that went into all the toppers are incredible! Personally, my favorite has to be the ghosts. Hot Cocoa Anyone?

Yes these are cupcakes. Look very very closely..... hard to tell right?!?

They were made by Anna at Diary of a Ladybird, a blogger from Sydney, Australia.

She created these little mindwarps by wrapping fondant around a vanilla cupcake and making icing to look like hot cocoa.

I Buffalove me some cupcakes!

I've been searching and searching for pictures of cupcakes with buffaloes on them to show my love and I finally found some!

These were made by Fairy Cakes Cupcakery in Buffalo, NY. This is a relatively new bakery and they offer plenty of tasty treats to the Western New York area. They were previously operating as an online company, but just opened up a storefront this past summer. Congrats!

You've heard of it right? The dance-cardio phenomenon that is the latest exercise sensation. Everybody and their mother is doing it (literally). I personally love Zumba-- and since moving to NYC from Buffalo, I really miss the Zumba classes I used to take at my old gym!
