Gingerbread Latte Cupcakes with Recipe Link

Ta ta Thanksgiving, HELLO CHRISTMAS! Now that Thanksgiving and Black Friday have come and gone I think now we can officially start gearing up for Christmas!

In honor of this season's most anticipated holiday I present to you a special Christmas themed treat...Gingerbread Latte Cupcakes with Lemon Cream Cheese Frosting!

These ridiculously cute and delicious looking treats are brought to you by Bakers Royale! The recipe actually came about because of a disappointing Starbucks drink order, goes to show that the best inspiration really can come from anywhere!

I was a little taken aback by the idea of mixed lemon cream cheese with something as spicy as gingerbread but after reading why this was used, I have to say I'm more than curious to try out the recipe for myself. If you want to try this out as well, go ahead and check out the recipe here!

Holiday Cupcakes from Fields of Cake

With the Holiday season upon us... I thought I'd put together a collection of cupcakes from one of my most favorite bakers, Carrie of Fields of Cake!

Right now, Carrie is in Crete, Greece visiting her husband ( SO JEALOUS ) but will be returning back to the states in 2012 to continue her baking adventures! These are cupcakes from holiday's past and are really so stinking cute, I had to share!

Hey there little guy, I think you're lost! It's November...not December! But how cute are you and your little friends below? Christmas music playing in coffee shops and stores have already got me into the holiday mood so I thought a Christmas Cupcake Appreciation Post was in order! Testing Christmas Cupcakes

Bakers may not be selling Christmas cupcakes yet, but now is the time to get experiment and test out ideas for the holidays. This gold gingerbread cupcakes were made by an Australian baker, Haus of Cake.Last week I asked on Twitter and Facebook about Christmas cupcake flavors, and some of the the suggestions included:

Chai Cream Cupcakes with Recipe Link

Yesterday, on my way to work, I drove through Starbucks for a well-deserved Chai Tea Latte (I had received a job offer the day before and decided to treat myself!) when I received my drink I was pleasantly surprised to be handed the coveted red holiday Starbucks cup...which everyone knows officially marks the holiday season!

These Chai Cream Cupcakes also remind me of this special time of the year! I think it's the cinnamon. These cupcakes were created by Baking Confessions. You can find step by step directions to create this spiced goods for yourself here!
