5 cute Halloween bat cupcakes, plus bat cupcake wrappers

So that bats get their own special due, and because these are extra cute Halloween bat cupcakes...I was very scared of bats when I was little, even though I'm pretty sure I've never seen an actual bat, so I love when cupcakes take something I'd find scary in real life and turn it into something adorable.

RIP Halloween gravestone cookie cupcakes

When I first saw these I thought "RIP because they look so good people will devour them right away!" They're by blogger Kids and My Kitchen, who has the recipe for the dark chocolate cupcakes and chocolate dip! From the post:

These aren't your typically overloaded-on-sugar chocolate cupcakes. The chocolate is dark, rich, and not overly sweet. I have tried several chocolate cupcake recipes and have not been completely satisfied. So, I had to tweak a couple things and try one more time. The result is the recipe above and it is oh so perfect!

The cutest Cookie Monster cupcake I've ever seen

And trust me, I've seen a lot of Cookie Monster cupcakes, but these, by blogger Angry Asian Creations, just have that that something extra. The eyes are big, the blue coconut is bursting with color, the cookie is so bold. So fun. Color me impressed. And I'm not the only one: it won Best Decorated cupcake at Charm City CupcakeCamp.
