A Review of Pastry Arts

A few weeks ago, my parents went to a wedding that had a wedding cake from Pastry Arts and they went on and on about how it was the best cake they had ever had.  My mom has wanted to take me there so I could taste it for myself, and this morning we finally went to the Inverness, AL location.

Pastry Arts is known for their Baby Bites, which are kind of like petit fours.  The brochure says, “An original creation by pastry chef Carol Gregg, Baby Bites have virtually replaced the traditional petit four as the scrumptious treat-of-choice for weddings, bridal teas, baby showers, parties, intimate dinners, and family gatherings all over the south.”

They also make regular cakes, specialty cakes, wedding cakes, cupcakes, scones, and more.  When my mom and I went this morning, they only had Baby Bites so we just chose some of those.

My mom got vanilla and strawberry.

I got chocolate.

And red velvet.

They were so good!  The cake was very moist and the frosting was delicious.  I’d love to go again sometime and try some of the other flavors.

So if you’re looking for something new and delicious for your parties or get-togethers, I highly recommend Pastry Arts.  They receive and A+ from me!
